Jamie Crossman-Smith is a data and AI specialist with over 20 years of experience in digital, data, and technology. Previously, as Managing Director, Digital, Data, & Technology Jamie set up Grant Thornton UKs Digital Centre of Excellence and authored the Applied Innovation Blueprint. He is a Visiting Enterprise Fellow in AI at Manchester Metropolitan University and lectures on MSc AI Programmes at Northumbria University. 

Jamie led the joint industry and government research programme to assess the cyber risks arising to AI for the UKs Department for Science, Innovation, & Technology. Jamie was runner-up for the 2024 DataIQ Global Innovation Champion Award, recognising his leadership in AI and innovation. He has worked with many large firms including Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, and Citigroup, helping major organisations unlock value through data-driven strategies.
